Markus Zeitler is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Omassist, where he leads all aspects of software development, technical direction, and architectural strategy. With a strong background in full-stack development and cloud-based architectures, he functions as the Chief Technology Officer and leads the development team, driving innovation and scalability across the platform.
Mark is a seasoned technology executive and entrepreneur with over four decades of experience in software development, spanning industries such as telecommunications, flight planning, ERP SaaS, and construction technology. He co-founded Accrisoft in 2001, a SaaS company focused on providing comprehensive membership management solutions, which was acquired by Mainsail Partners in 2023. Mark's expertise lies in full-stack development, cloud-based architectures, and leading high-performing technical teams to deliver innovative, scalable solutions.
Mark’s career began in 1978 when he started programming on an Apple II Plus at the age of 11. His early passion for technology led him to teach at the Computer Center of Boca Raton as a teenager and develop trading software while still in high school. After earning a degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Florida, Mark's professional journey took him through various leadership roles at companies such as Daleen Technologies, Quest Solutions, and PurpleTie.
As the Chief Architect at Daleen Technologies, Mark played a pivotal role in developing telecommunications software for Ericsson and Siemens AG, contributing to the company's growth and eventual public listing. He later founded Vectrix Corporation, where he developed flight planning software used by the European Union for agricultural compensation programs.
During his tenure as CTO at Quest Solutions, Mark spearheaded the development of 3D visualization software for construction estimating, helping the company achieve significant growth and positioning it for acquisition. His experience in Silicon Valley as CTO of PurpleTie further honed his skills in ERP SaaS development, where he architected scalable e-commerce and logistics solutions.
In 2001, Mark co-founded Accrisoft, where he led the creation of the Accrisoft Freedom™ platform, an all-in-one membership management solution for non-profits and associations. Under his leadership, the company grew to generate $30M in revenue with 100% client retention, evolving its technology from traditional hosting to a modern architecture on AWS and Google Cloud.
Following the acquisition of Accrisoft by Mainsail Partners in 2023, Teamfront was established as a parent organization to acquire field services companies and integrate them into a single ERP solution, with Accrisoft serving as the foundational growth product. Mark took on the role of fractional CTO for multiple Teamfront subsidiaries, including Accrisoft, ServiceMonster, and Fieldster. He provided strategic leadership across DevOps, development, and quality assurance, driving the adoption of SDLC best practices and achieving SOC2 compliance.
